The 2011 Duxbury Boosters golf tournament, which was played in honor of George Teravainen was a huge success. Despite the cold, rainy weather, the 86 golfers kept their spirits high and enjoyed an afternoon of golf and a festive reception at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School. At the end of the day eleven thousand dollars was raised at this event and every penny will go toward the Duxbury High School athletic teams.
